Tim Mather, director of the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts, speaks Wednesday about "Earth and Fire: A Ceramic Artist's Perspective on African Ceramics" at the IU Art Museum. Diane Pelrine, curator of African, Oceanic, and Pre-Columbian Art, looks on. About 30 people attended the event, which coincided with the Art Museum's exhibit "Form and Surface: African Ceramics, Baskets and Textiles."
