Flying high again
____simple_html_dom__voku__html_wrapper____>“Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds” is Gallagher’s first album release since he left Oasis in 2009. The album does not feature a hit like “Wonderwall,” but it does feature a collection of songs that it seems Gallagher has been waiting to get out for a while. Listening to the album, one gets the feeling it was not written to sell millions of copies but for Gallagher to finally express his total musical freedom. The opening song on the album is titled “Everybody’s On The Run,” and it seems this is especially true of Gallagher, who is on the run from his past with Oasis. “Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds” may never be a Billboard hit at the level of “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?,” but to Gallagher fans, it will be refreshing to listen to exactly what the great songwriter wanted to produce.
