The NCAA college football transfer portal opened Jan. 2 and will remain open through Jan. 16. As of Jan. 22, Indiana has received commitments from 17 players, while 14 Hoosiers have entered the portal.
Andrew Miller, co-editor-in-chief: Delivery robots are a stain on humanity and a chimera of our worst tendencies. Valuable time and resources, which could be directed toward housing, computers, spacecraft and countless other items of more use, are being used to deliver $20 hamburgers.

The Indiana Daily Student received two Pacemaker Awards from the Associated Collegiate Press at its fall 2025 conference — for both Multiplatform organization and for Newspaper/Newsmagazine. For the first time in its history, IUSTV was a finalist for a Broadcast Pacemaker.
IU previously directed the Indiana Daily Student to stop printing news coverage in our newspaper. Upon pushback, the university fully cut print, including our special editions. The IDS was not involved in the decision.
