With only about three weeks remaining in the current television season,
most shows are going all-out to get your attention. But as I think
about it more, you’re probably at a point where you’re watching shows
or you aren’t. Therefore, this column will focus on the four shows that
will deliver the best season-ending story lines. For many of you, see
this as a quick preview of the end. For those not watching, shame on

Did you watch this week’s “Chuck” on Hulu last night? Or maybe you finished that movie you rented instantly from Netflix.

It’s a depressing time we live in, folks. The economy is floundering,
people are being massacred on what seems like a weekly basis and North
Korea is firing missiles into the air. Times like these are when you’d

Today I found out that Mark Hoppus of the newly reunited blink-182 is

And unlike most years, there are newbies this season that actually have a shot.
Therefore, I’m mixing things up a bit this week – no TiVo’ing, no rant.
Just a mini spring preview with a quality scale to help you decide if
you want to watch.

After achieving mainstream success with 2002’s “Sticks and Stones” and
2004’s “Catalyst” and driving the pop-punk revolution, New Found Glory
created a more pop-oriented sound for 2006’s “Coming Home,” which
angered longtime fans but enchanted critics with its maturity.

In the midst of phrases like “bromance” and homosexual implications for
close guy friends, films like “Superbad,” “Pineapple Express,” “Role
Models” and even “Knocked Up” have showed us what it means to have a
best friend today.
And the newest attempt, “I Love You, Man,” shines the spotlight on the
platonic male relationship in a completely real and honest way.

Who knew the only jobs in the world were cops, investigators, lawyers or doctors?

As a longtime fan of the graphic novel that for years has been called
unfilmable, it is amazing to see this story on screen – and even more
so to see it be nearly as good.
Some fanboys will complain of small details missing, and unaware viewers might be confused with the constant flashbacks.

It’s time for spring break, which means you’re probably not thinking about what TV you need to watch. However, there is always the chance that your glorious trip to Cancun or Acapulco could be rained out – and then there you are, stuck in a hotel room. But it’s still spring break, and you’ll just want to have fun. These four shows might not be the best, but they’ll surely entertain.

happen, the networks are ready to pull out all the stops to bring in
huge ratings. And while many shows will use casting coups and gimmicks
to pull in viewers, the following programs will be watched because
they’re excellent.

Banks suck. If there’s anything we’ve learned during this economic
crisis, it’s that. But the sobering picture painted by “The
International” is one that will make you take all your assets and bury
them in a hole.
