All hail our lord Metadata: This week, illustrator Zack Worcel takes on the NSA’s recent troubles with the newly-revealed and controversial Prism program. NSA director Keith Alexander testified in front of Congress Wednesday, claiming that mining of digital “metadata” through the extensive Prism surveillance program prevented “dozens” of terrorist attacks. The legality of this collection program is still being closely debated.
