If a stray electric guitar plays in the middle of a South American rainforest, does it make a sound? Maybe this is the riddle that this Brooklyn-based five-piece set out to solve when they created their indie pop band Snowmine, which has put out two albums: Saucer Eyes and Laminate Pet Animal, and the single "Curfews." A testament to the enduring music of the natural world, Snowmine combines this with echoing vocals to produce a sound both unique and transcendent.
