This is young man's blues at its best: raw and powerful, bellowing, almost grunging in both vocals and guitar. Russian Recording's own Charlie Patton's War is a rare blend of classic and hard musicianship. Their emblem of a machinegun superimposed onto a guitar is perhaps the best way to summarize their sound: good music with a hell of a lot of fight.
