Prepare for a Scottish invasion, Bloomington. The four piece We Were Promised Jetpacks is coming to town, and they're bringing their rafter-rattling tunes and sweet accents with them.
Formed in Edinburgh back in 2003, WWPJ's tunes jumped across the pond in 2009 when they released their debut album These Four Walls, which included the ironically loud track "Quiet Little Voices." Since then they've been touring the UK and have somewhat recently released In the Pit of the Stomach.
You can probably expect a Pit-heavy set Tuesday night, but for those of us who have followed Jetpacks for the last couple of years, the night won't be complete until the Bluebird is filled with "It's Thunder and It's Lightning."
