Underground dub-stepper Borgore has been able to bring the dubstep underground into clear view for a wide audience. As a former death metal drummer, Israeli-born Asaf Borger bends the rules when creating his music using articulate drum patterns stemming from his heavy metal background and other influences. When you hear the word dubstep, you might think 140 BPM or half time, or maybe, if you're a real newb, you think Skrillex. While Borgore's music isn't as mainstream, it is, in fact, dubstep in its most raw form. If you're down for a little wobble, and don't have 9AM's on Tuesday, check out Borgore at the Bluebird Monday night at 9 p.m.
