Monday is Martin Luther King Day, so you don't really have any choice but to stay out late Sunday night. And if you haven't figured out where you're going yet, you really don't have any choice but to head to the Bishop to see a motley crew of loud local bands destroy everything in sight. Charnel House will start off the festivities like the evil Sunn O))) thralls that they are with tape machines, drums and incantations. After that - credit for all genre descriptions to the Bishop - Comfort will bring gritty garage punk; Big Things will bring business casual heaviness; and Step Dads will bring post-hardcore. It's five bucks, and it's a hell of a better way to ring in MLK Day than watching The Help.
