I'm still reveling in the fact that Barack Obama is now the 44th President of the United States, but I have to allow myself to switch gears for at least a moment. I have studying to do, a bedroom to clean and a concert to attend.

Coming all the way from Sweden, Hyvonen has set off on tour to support her sophomore release Silence is Wild. It was released yesterday on Secretly Canadian. *Winners of our Halloween contest got a copy of the new album fo' free!
Hyvonen's songs are imbued with emotion and grace. Her forte is piano. Her voice shines and shimmers like the sea.
