Listen up, folks! This weekend is huge for your favorite (and only) student-run radio station at IU, 99.1 FM WIUX-LP! As some of you may know, we are holding our annual Pledge Drive this very weekend, from Friday Oct. 24 to Sunday Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. every day!
WIUX serves as IU and Bloomington's only source for underrepresented and local music, brought to you by the students of Indiana University. As a Live Buzzer and the co-Music Director at WIUX, I have a vested interest in both the station and the local music scene. However, in order to continue providing quality broadcasts to Bloomington residents, we have to keep our studio in shape, and it takes a LOT of money to run a radio station.
