The streak is over.

IU defeated Illinois 77-58 in Champaign, Ill. on Sunday, snapping a streak of 22 Big Ten losses on the road.

Two days after a performance against Northwestern that caused Miller to question his team's confidence, IU opened with one of their best offensive halves of the season.

IU shot 15-of-29 (51.7 percent) from the field and hit six three-pointers in the opening 20 minutes of play.

The Hoosiers went on a 17-1 run between the 14:45-10:54 mark in the first half to take a commanding 34-15 lead.

IU went on a 16-5 run to start the second half to extend its lead to 59-36 with 12 minutes and 13 seconds remaining. The 23 point lead was enough of a cushion for the Hoosiers to coast to a 19 point victory.

IU's lead got to as high as 26 points after a 3-pointer from freshman guard Taylor Agler with four minutes and 59 seconds remaining.

IU crushed the Illini on the boards 45-26.

Four Hoosiers scored in double figures, led by freshman guard Alexis Gassion's career-high 22 points.

Freshman guard Larryn Brooks recorded a double-double with 16 points and ten assists. Freshman forward Lyndsay Leikem had a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
