After receiving 11 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns in IU's 52-35 win against Illinois, junior wide receiver Cody Latimer was voted the AT&T All-America Player of the Week. According to the website, ESPN analysts select four players each week of the regular season based on their performances during the previous week and the fans decide the winner.

He earned the honor after receiving more votes than Southern California wide receiver Nelson Agholor, Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr and UCLA linebacker Myles Jack.

The Dayton, Ohio native had the most single game receptions and receiving yards of his career against Illinois and he tied his career best in receiving touchdowns. Latimer has 55 receptions for 884 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

Fans can continue to vote for Latimer to be the AT&T All-America Player of the Year.
