Indiana wrestling started its post-season today in Champaign, Illinois with the Big Ten Championships. Going into the tournament, the team had four wrestlers who were ranked within the top ten. Competing against eleven other Big Ten teams, the Hoosiers had their work cut out for them.

The first Hoosier win was recorded by sophomore Taylor Walsh, who was ranked fifth in the tournament. He defeated Purdue's Tommy Churchard with a 3-0 decision. Right after Walsh's victory, his teammate, junior Ryan LeBlanc, recorded the second Hoosier win. He won a big match over Purdue's Pat Robinson, with a major decision of 11-1.

Sophomore Luke Sheridan would make it three Hoosiers to make it into the second round, with a bye the first round. Finally, junior Adam Chalfant would be the fourth Hoosier to make it into the second round, defeating Illinois' Chirs Lopez 4-1. These four Hoosiers would then go on to wrestle again in Session I. After Session I concludes, the Hoosiers left standing wil be back in action for wrestlebacks and semifinals.
