After dominating her events at a dual meet against the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette this past weekend, freshman Brooklyn Snodgrass has earned Big Ten Swimmer of the Week and Big Ten Freshman of the Week.

Currently, the Hoosier swimmer has two Big Ten Swimmer of the Week awards and she has clenched the Big Ten Freshman of the Week title three times.

In Indiana's 179-121 win over Purdue last Saturday, Snodgrass touched the wall in both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events with NCAA provisional qualifying times, 53.73 and 1:55.48 respectively. This season, Snodgrass claims top times in the Big Ten for both events.

She also posted wins in the 200 individual medley (2:03.50) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:41.67).

Snodgrass and the rest of the Indiana women will finish up the 2012-13 dual season this Friday when they compete against No. 18 Louisville.
