Opponents, the last two games, outscored the Hoosiers 41-14. Sunday's game was a Big Ten contest. Tuesday's was not. Junior shortstop Michael Basil described how the Hoosiers plan bounce back.
"You just need to remember the good things, the good times you've had," he said. "You need to remember the walk-off games that we've had here. You need to remember that you are good enough and you've beaten good teams.
"We know that we're good enough. We just need to forget about this past two days of baseball. You need to learn from them, but you can't let them bring you down."
Junior first baseman Trace Knoblauch's answer to this question is tentatively scheduled for the preview story in Friday's newspaper.
