IU Coach Todd Yeagley announced Tuesday that Richard Ballard (Louisville, Ky./duPont Manual), Derek Creviston (Atlanta, Ga./Milton), Alex Hadley (Dayton, Ohio/Carroll/Cincinnati), Femi Hollinger-Janzen (Goshen, Ind./Bethany Christian), Zach Martin (Avon Lake, Ohio/St. Ignatius) and Andrew Oliver (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) will join up in Bloomington next fall as the 2012 men's soccer class.

Highlights:

  • Ballard was a first-team all-state recipient and an all-region selection his senior year at duPont Manual High School, and he led the Crimsons to the District 12 title.
  • Creviston led Milton High School to a regional championship and a state semi-finalist berth his senior year, and he played his club soccer with Concorde Fire of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy where he won two state titles. Creviston was also named to the 2010 Disney Soccer Showcase All-Star team where he played in London against several international youth soccer teams.
  • Hadley is currently enrolled in Bloomington after two seasons playing for the University of Cincinnati. Last year, he started all 18 games for the Bearcats at defender. His freshman year, he played all 19 games and was honored once as the Big East Rookie of the Week.
  • Hollinger-Janzen was named the Indiana high school soccer player of the year his senior year and earned NSCAA All-American and first-team all-state honors. He led Bethany Christian to a semi-state runner-up finish in the IA division in 2011.
  • Martin led Saint Ignatius to Division I state titles in 2010 and 2011, and he was named to the ESPN Rise starting 11 for the state of Ohio. He currently plays with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Cleveland Internationals as a team captain.
  • Oliver has played extensively with the United States U-17 National Team, earning the Golden Boot award at the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 tournament in Jamaica with four goals, en route to the team's championship title. Last summer, he was invited to train with Liverpool FC.
