The first road trip of the season against Central Arkansas resulted in a loss. But on Friday night, the Hoosiers (2-1) got their first road win of the season against Belmont 63-52.

Three Hoosiers scored in double figures: junior forward Aulani Sinclair (12 points), senior guard Alisha Goodwin (11 points) and freshman center Quaneisha McCurty recorded a double-double (10 points and 16 rebounds).

IU shot almost 36 percent from the field and held the Bruins to 28 percent.

Other Game Notes:

  • Candyce Ussery scored the first points of her collegiate career finishing the game with seven points, two steals, one block and one rebound.
  • Indiana won the rebounding battle for the third-consecutive game, 55-41.
  • IU outscored Belmont in the paint, 30-22.
  • The Hoosiers finished with 23 offensive rebounds and had 17 second-chance points to Belmont's nine.
  • Indiana's bench outscored the Belmont reserves, 44-14.
