My take
Alright, folks. Maybe it's because today is Friday and I'm finishing a week chalked full of three exams, a 10-page paper and hard deadline in Evansville. Maybe it's because this is a blog post and not in the paper. But whatever the reason, there's just not a whole lot I can tell you about Saturday's matchup, except for the fact that Savannah State will be lucky to leave Bloomington with a shred of dignity.
The Tigers are small, failed to score 60 points twice this season and lost by 29 at Georgetown. SSU is coming off its only win this season, a 73-70 overtime victory against Jacksonville. In exhibition play, the Tigers lost at home to mighty Benedict College...yikes. When these two met last season, IU beat the Tigers by 22.
Pick to click: Jordan Hulls
Bet to the campus: If IU losses, I will swim in Showalter Fountain, wearing only a bathing suit, after the first snowfall of the year.
