The final piece of the so called "Movement", Gary Harris, is expected to make his decision sometime in the next week according to Brian Snow of Scout.com.
The recruitment of Harris has been highly debated over the past six months with official visits taken to Purdue (Oct. 1), Indiana (Oct. 15), Kentucky (Oct. 22) and Michigan State (Nov. 5).
The fall signing period lasts one week starting this Wednesday the 9th. It is unlikely Harris would wait until the spring signing period to make his decision however, when exactly he will make his choice public is still unknown.
A multi-sport athlete, Harris and his Hamilton Southeastern football team is currently in the 5A regional portion of the Indiana High School Football Playoffs and are thought to the be the favorite to represent the northern portion of Indiana in the State Finals on Thanksgiving weekend.
One would think if Harris doesn't make a decision by Wednesday evening, than he would hold off until Sunday to keep from being hounded by the media during his team's playoff run.
My Thoughts: In a recruitment that is very similar to that of Cody Zeller, I would be shocked if the destination was leaked prior to the family wanting the public to know. At times throughout the process, all four schools have been rumored to lead and Harris has been relatively quiet about all four of his official visits. For what it's worth, Harris has not tweeted since Oct. 18 and Snow believes he will be back on Twitter once his decision is made. A little bit of irony to ponder, (because trying to decipher between the four schools is not going to help at this point) as most people know Harris is a Divsion I football prospect with Flordia State, LSU and Notre Dame having all shown interest in the wide receiver. Harris has decided to focus on basketball at the next level but his quarterback this Friday night in the 5A regional will be Ross Risley who is replacing the injured starter Jake Jones. For IU basketball fans the Risley name might sound familiar as his father, Steve, was a member of the 1981 National Championship team.
