Gunner Kiel is no longer committed to Indiana, per Steve Wiltfong, 247 Sports.com's national reporter.

Kiel, a 6-foot-4-inch, 210-pound quarterback, announced in July that he would commit to IU Coach Kevin Wilson and the Hoosier football program.

At the time, the five-star quarterback from Columbus (Ind.) East chose Indiana over many of the nation's top programs such as Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee and Michigan.

Kiel was IU's class of 2012's 13th commit. He is the state's top prospect and was said to be the highest profiled prospect to IU since Dave Schnell, Elkhart (Ind.) Central quarterback, committed to the program in 1985.

Gunner's older brother Dusty is a redshirt sophomore quarterback for IU. Dusty started against Illinois and Penn State.
