Start marking your calenders - the IU women's basketball schedule is out. The Hoosiers begin the 2011-2012 season with two exhibitions against St. Ambrose and Indianapolis on November 3 and 8, both at Assembly Hall.
Other out of conference highlights include December 1 at Virginia for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, December 4 home to Oklahoma State in the Big 12/Big Ten Challenge, and against Pittsburgh and Colorado State in the Caribbean Classic held December 20 and 21 in Cancun, Mexico.
The Hoosiers then begin conference play on December 30, when they will host Michigan State. They also battle against arch rival Purdue January 19 at home and February 26 in West Lafayette to round out the regular season.
IU will then participate in the Big Ten Tournament taking place March 1-4.
"I am excited about our schedule this season," IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack said in a press release. "We play some teams that we haven't played in my tenure here and we are anxious to face opponents from the ACC, Big 12, BIG EAST and the reigning WNIT champions in Toledo."
