Two weeks ago the IU baseball team was atop the Big Ten standings now, the Hoosiers (25-19, 6-9) are now one-game back of the 6th and final spot for the Big Ten Tournament. With three weekend Big Ten series left, IU has plenty of time to make up the one game but here are the glaring numbers that help tells some of the story during the seven-game losing streak:
IU has been out hit 86-59 and out scored 55-19 during the streak.
IU has committed 13 errors which have led to 15 unearned runs and have left 57 people on base during those seven games.
The Hoosiers will not play a midweek game due to finals this week but will be back in action at Sembower Field this weekend against Northwestern (14-25, 6-9).
