Kurt Kinser and Matt Powless each defeated higher-ranked foes in their third place matches at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational as the team finished in 16th place with 54 points.
Kinser is now 11-3 on the year at 149 pounds, while Powless has a 15-1 record at 197 pounds. Each suffered their only defeat of the tournamnet to their weight's top seed. I would expect both wrestlers to jump a few spots in next week's rankings.
I still do not have any more information of the apprent Paul Young injury.
