The IU men's basketball team looks for its first 5-0 start since the 2002-03 season when it plays the North Carolina Central Eagles (1-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Assembly Hall. Here is everything you need to know before the game.

Indiana

  • IU is holding opponents to just 34.6 percent shooting on the season, and have not allowed an opponent to top 40 percent shooting yet this season. The Hoosiers are holding opponents to 53 points per game.
  • The Hoosiers victory Sunday against Evansville was IU's first when trailing at halftime in the Tom Crean era.
  • IU has played NCCU once before, in a 81-58 victory at Assembly Hall last season.
  • Junior forward Tom Pritchard's five blocks Sunday marked the first time a Hoosier has recorded five rejections in a game since D.J. White in 2007. Pritchard now has nine blocks through four games, compared to just four last year in the same time span.

North Carolina Central

  • Eagles head coach LeVelle Moton is in his second year at the helm, following a 7-22 season last year.
  • NCCU is led by C.J. Wilkerson's 19.7 points per game, followed closely by Landon Clement's 15.7 points per game.
  • The Eagles are shooting 49.7 percent from the field, while holding opponents to just 34.7 shooting on the year. They have also averaged 20 turnovers forced per game, an area that will surely test the turnover prone Hoosiers.
  • The Eagles have been beat in the paint through three games, losing the rebounding battle by an average margin of 41-33.
