Eric Alexander only left the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington half a year ago. Now, Alexander along with former Hoosier Drew Moor, who hepled IU win back-to-back national championships, will match up against each other in the Major League Soccer Cup Final on Sunday.

The match, which is held in Toronto, is between Alexander's FC Dallas and Moor's Colorado Rapids. Both teams are playing for their first MLS title.

Per IUHoosiers:

"We are very excited to have Eric and Drew make the MLS Cup and represent our IU alumni, taking lead roles in Major League Soccer," said head coach Todd Yeagley, himself a former MLS standout. "Both had great years and their contributions helped their teams get to this point. I know it is going to be a fantastic match. They have a great future in the league and it could not happen to two better people. Both represent our University with such distinction and we look forward to a great match Sunday. It will be great to see another Hoosier raise the trophy."
