Highly-touted 2012 guard prospect Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell will make an unofficial IU visit as the football team plays Akron, the Indianapolis Star reports. The Herald-Times (Bloomington) is confirming the report.
Ferrell, the No. 17 ranked player and No. 2 guard in the 2012 class, is considering a scholarship offer from IU, along with offers from eight other schools. The Hoosiers currently have commitments from center Peter Jurkin and guard Ron Patterson in their 2012 class.
