In today's edition of the IDS, we gave some recognition to two guys who had big first games for IU.

  • I spent a good 10 minutes talking to Hoosiers' tight end Ted Bolser this week and wrote a story about what he can provide for the offense this year. In short, Bolser gives quarterback Ben Chappell a big target over the middle to complement a strong core of receivers.

  • IDS football beat writer Connor O'Gara wrote about Mitchell Evans and his role as a do-everything player for the Hoosiers. Evans had a strong game against Towson, especially in the first quarter when he made two touchdown-saving tackles and recorded an interception.

What are your thoughts on these two guys? Will their success continue throughout the season or did they simply take advantage against poor competition?
