Big Ten commissioner Jim Delaney will announce the Big Ten football divisions at 7 p.m. tonight on the Big Ten Network.

ESPN.com is reporting the divisions will look like this:

  • Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern and Minnesota
  • Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, Wisconsin, Purdue and Illinois

On the surface, this appears to be bad news for the Hoosiers. If ESPN's report is true, IU will have to play Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin -- three of the conference's best teams -- each year.

Stay tuned to idsnews.com throughout the day for more information.
