According to the Sandy Springs, Georgia OurLittleNet website, senior high jumper Darius King has signed a National Letter of Intent from IU track and field.

King is a senior at Riverwood International Charter High School and a Georgia Class AAA State Champion. He holds Riverwood's school record in the high jump with a height of 7'00".

King, who only began jumping competitively a year ago, is a third year varsity basketball player having played as both shooting guard and small forward. According to his profile on berecruited.com , King lists Buisness Administration/Management as a potential college major. He will be competing in the high jump for the Hoosiers.

This commitment comes weeks after IU sophomore high jumper Derek Drouin was named the NCAA champion with a leap of 7'5.75".
