A four-peat. A downpour. A broken curse.
Looking back on the past two days, I'm not sure there's a better Little 500 weekend to cover but I know as I sit here, finally dry and safe from any rain, wind or lightning that I would surely do it all again.
Now that the craze of this weekend's races has settled there are a few things left to say.
1. The IDS would like to send a huge shout-out and thank you to WIUX 99.1, our student radio on campus. Without them, the only people who would have been able to enjoy the race were the students who stayed through the thunderstorm and those who could find the race on HDnet. I mean Nathan and I would have had no access to information because the actual press box is not taken up by press at all, but by the team's student timers who take their lap times. So our live chat coverage was only possible because of them.
2. Thank you for tuning in and asking questions. Sorry some of them got passed by or weren't answered clearly. There was a good 20 minutes where I was just sitting at the computer typing everything Nathan said to me, while trying to ask him where people were on the track. Thinking back on it, it was quite comical actually. Too bad there was no video camera on the amount of rain that came in and soaked us, our computers and our fellow student media members.
3. Now that the race is over if you have any questions, complaints, comments or future stories you want to see feel free to email Nathan or me. Nathan at nmhart@indiana.edu and me at skuzydym@indiana.edu.
4. We'd also love for you to follow the IDS and our own personal Twitter accounts because outside of the Little 500 we do cover other things around campus and around sports.

6. Thank you for following along to the 23rd women's Little 500 and the 60th men's Little 500 - only 363 and 364 days until the 2011 women's and men's races, respectively.
