IU women's basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack spoke Tuesday about her team's goal to "Pack the Hall" for its home game against Michigan at 7 p.m. today.

"We love our Hoosier nation," Legette-Jack said. "We're really excited about our 2,000 fans that come on a consistent basis, but it would really be nice to match what the Big Ten shows us. When we go to Purdue, it's 40,000. When we go to Penn State, it's deafening in there when there's 4,500 fans."

IU Athletics has conducted a special promotion for the game, offering $1 tickets in an attempt to sell out Assembly Hall.

"Our hope is that we can really bring in our Hoosier nation and bring it up to five or 6,000," Legette-Jack said. "With everything in my spirit, I believe we're going to get up to 17,o00 here for women's basketball in my lifetime at Indiana. It might be on Thursday, I'm not sure, but I just believe when you have your fans cheering for you, it takes you to a whole new level"
