It's been well-documented that IU grabbed its first road win since Feb. 23, 2008.
Well, Sunday will give IU the opportunity to complete its first three-game win streak since that very date, when IU completed both feats against Northwestern in Evanston, Ill.
The win would be another step toward rebuilding for IU coach Tom Crean's team.
IU has obviously progressed from a year ago. At 9-9 this season -- 3-3 in conference -- IU is sitting at .500 thus far.
After a year with a 6-25 total record and only one conference win, the Hoosiers have made strides.
But the true tests for the Hoosiers come soon after the Iowa game.
Contests against Illinois, Purdue, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State all come for them before or right after the halfway mark of February.
