The IU Men's Tennis team has been in Las Vegas for nearly a week now as they prepared for this weekend's UNLV Invitational.

Head coach Randy Bloemendaal said it was a "team building" experience as the Hoosiers lived in a house together and discussed a different topic at the table each night. They trained for hours every day in preparation for the spring season.

IU will be without two of its top players this weekend as both Lachlan Ferguson (undisclosed injury) and Santiago Gruter (Pneumonia) will sit. Bloemendaal said Gruter came down with Pneumonia after arriving in Nevada and spent some time in the hospital before rejoining the team.

A player to watch this weekend is freshman Josh MacTaggart, who finished the fall season but earning a Big Ten Singles Championship.
