Will Sheehey, an IU basketball recruit from Weston, Florida, says he will make a college decision soon.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard, who is also considering Michigan and Georgia Tech, said he plans to sit down and discuss the situation with his family this weekend and hopes to have a decision made by early next week.

If not, he says, it will come some time in the next month.

Sheehey is ranked 131st in the Class of 2010 by Rivals.com. and could add depth to Tom Crean's backcourt.

He said the Hoosier basketball tradition makes IU a very attractive choice.

"The tradition is the thing that stands out most about Indiana," Sheehey said. "And the coaching staff is really great. With Tom Crean, every practice is going to be really intense. Tom Crean is just all about player development and making it to the next level. So when it comes to Indiana, in a basketball sense, it's unbelievable."

Sheehey was in Bloomington for an official visit last weekend and said he "enjoyed it a lot."

As far as the possibility of attending IU, Sheehey would only say that it is in his top three.
