Head coach Mike Mayer has signed two men's golfers the 2010-2011 season for the Hoosiers in Evansville, Ind., product David Mills and Hugo Menendez from Spain.

Mills will enroll in the fall of 2010 and tied for second at last year's Indiana High School Boy's Golf State Finals. He currently attends Evansville North High School, which also produced PGA Tour player and 2005 IU graduate Jeff Overton. The golf course is not the only place where Mills excels as he has a 4.0 GPA and was selected to the AJGA HP Scholastics Junior All-American Team. Coming off a win last month at the 2009 Puma Hoosier Junior Championship, Mills and his Evansville North team will be looking for a state title in the spring after finishing second last spring.

Menendez will enroll for the 2010 spring semester but will not be eligible to compete until the 2010 fall semester. Some highlights for the Spainiard include: winning the 2009 Spanish Absolute Championship, 5th at the 2009 Spanish Amateur and 2nd at the 2009 Spanish National Championship 18U.
