The IU volleyball team welcomes the two-time defending national champions to University Gym when it plays No. 1 Penn State at 7 p.m. today.

A preview of the match as the Hoosiers (15-16, 4-13) battle the Nittany Lions (29-0, 17-0):

When they last met

Penn State swept IU by scores of 25-19, 25-13 and 25-17.

Where they stand now

The Nittany Lions are riding a 93-match win streak and aim for a three-peat as national champions.

The Hoosiers hope to give Penn State a tough match in their final home contest of the season.

Keys to the match

Penn State leads the Big Ten in hitting percentage, opponent hitting percentage, kills, assists and blocks. They have All-America potential at each position. The Nittany Lions need to control the net and not commit errors to avoid an upset.

IU needs to be more aggressive than they've ever been, matching Penn State hit-for-hit, point-for-point, to have a chance to win. The Hoosiers also can't commit service errors or service return errors like they did last night against Ohio State.
