Three Indiana field hockey players were named to the 2009 Longstreth/NFHCA West All-Region first and second teams.
Sophomore forward Corey Brautigam earned first-team honors.
Brautigam was also named a third team All-American by Longstreth/NFHCA.
While freshman forward Morgan Fleetwood and senior midfielder Meg O'Connell earned second-team honors.
Fleetwood also earned all-Rookie team honors from womensfieldhockey.com.
Brautigam started 20 of 21 games for the Hoosiers and scored five goals and tallied two assists.
O'Connell scored four goals to go along with six assists for 14 points.
Fleetwood led the Hoosiers with 15 goals and tallied six assists
The Hoosiers (14-7) ended the 2009 season ranked 13th in the NFHCA Coaches poll and was a first-round NCAA tournament participant..
