Open your eyes Fantasy Nation!
Lineups are due, and every spot counts! You can argue the merit in a one-point defeat, but losing is losing, and a losing is not what winners do. So put that tub of Ben & Jerry's back in the freezer and blow your nose for goodness sake, because I won't desert you. Here is your golden ticket to the golden circle!
Start 'Em:
QB Joe Flacco (Ravens) - This young talent has turned out to be one of the great talents and steals of this year's fantasy draft. Only Drew Brees and Peyton Manning have more points through the first three weeks, and New England won't have an answer for him this week.
RB Ricky Williams (Dolphins) - Don't roll your eyes, this guy has more points than Reggie Bush, Marion Barber, Matt Forte, Michael Turner, and Steve Slaton! The dolphins love to run, and will lean on it especially without their starting QB. If you need a bye week replacement, look no further!
WR Jerricho Cotchery (Jets) - He is becoming Sanchez's favorite guy to toss to, and is a great option in PPR leagues. Don't be surprised if he becomes a consistent #1 option by season's end.
WR Wes Welker (Patriots) - He's had plenty of rest, and I've got a good feeling about this week!
Sit 'Em:
QB Tony Romo (Cowboys) - Here's a ticking time bomb! Don't touch him with a 10-foot pole!
RB Fred Jackson (Bills) - Alright, he had his fun, but Lynch is back. Unless the Bills really do slot him in at WR, he might not be worth a roster spot anymore.
RB Joseph Addai (Colts) - If Forte couldn't, Addai won't. Seattle isn't as bad as it sounds at the defensive side, and the Colts are going to rely more on the pass
TE Antonio Gates (Chargers) - Just a feeling, but San Diego hasn't won in Pittsburgh in 13 games. By the end of tomorrow, you can change that to 14.
If you have any doubt in your mind, email me (robejaco@umail.iu.edu) or tweet to me (TheFantasySage) and your questions will be answered. Remember, it's your league, and they're just playing in it!
Veni, vidi, but it is you who will conquer,
