DE Jammie Kirlew was added to the watch list for the 2009 Chuck Bednarik Award today. The award is presented to the best college defensive player of the year.
Of the 55 current players on the watch list, eight of those, including Kirlew, are from the Big Ten.
The winner will be announced December 10.
