Some notes from this evening's ITTs:

- The top men's times were much faster than last year. Clayton Feldman of the Cutters finished 11th this year with a time (2:23.51) faster than his 5th-place time last year (2:23.57).

- Notable names outside the top 10 include Feldman and Phi Delta Theta's Nick Sovinski (15th - he finished 2nd last year). "I just blew up the first two laps and died the second two," Sovinski said after the race. "I wish I could've kept up the pace. I didn't think I'd get worn out at all."

- On the women's side, Kristi Hewitt broke her own personal record for ITTs, topping last year's time by 2.66 seconds.

- Second-place finisher Jennifer Balbach improved her 2:41.40 in 2008 to 2:39.86 this year. She also moved up a spot from third in '08 to second in '09.

- Save for Hewitt's blazing pace, women's times were similar to last year, but far slower than the 2007 pace when 20 riders posted times under 2:45. This year, only 11 riders were under that pace.
