Two loses in the Eagle Invitational in Statesboro, Ga., have cemented a four-game losing streak for the Hoosiers (3-6), who have also dropped five of their last six.

IU fell to Georgia Southern, 8-5, and No. 20 East Carolina, 5-3, over the weekend, and has only one game left in the Invitational. They will square off with LeMoyne at 11 a.m. tomorrow today, before heading back to Bloomington for a home contest against Morehead State.

Much was, and still is, expected of the Hoosiers, who managed to keep the two Invitational games closer than they did their last two in-state contest against Indiana State and Eastern Michigan -- they allowed both teams to post double-digit scores.

Matt Bashore (0-2) registered a loss against Georgia Southern and Eric Arnett (2-1) also received his first loss of the season against East Carolina, despite a nine-inning performance that saw him complete 10 strikeouts.

While the season is far from over, IU has continued to wrack up loses, and is obviously missing something. The Hoosiers haven't had trouble hitting the ball, but don't get the timely hits needed to send batters home. Young pitching has also plagued IU. What do you guys think is going wrong for the Hoosiers?
