UPDATE: Elam and the Lady Trailblazers ended their season in a 78-64 loss to Connors State College. Elam had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Hope Elam, who will join the IU women's basketball team next year has reached the NJCAA national tournament with her team, the Lady Trailblazers of Vincennes college.
On March 17th the 14th seeded Trailblazers (23-8) will begin the tournament by taking on the third seeded Connors State College team (29-3). The tournament is being played in Kansas.
