After such a promising start to the Big Ten season the Hoosiers have plummeted, loosing their third consecutive game today 66-59 at the hands of up and coming Illinois. The loss drops IU to 8-5 in the conference, which is good for fifth place right now.

The bright spot of the day was that senior Whitney Thomas became only the second player in school history to collect 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

The Hoosiers will take on Michigan State on Thursday. MSU surprised Ohio State today and won 52-46. Below are some links to a photo slide show and press conference audio.
