IU coach Tom Crean announced this afternoon that junior guard Devan Dumes' suspension is over and that the team's leading scorer will play Thursday night against Wisconsin.
"I'm going to play him," Crean said. "We're looking forward to doing that. We think we've covered the ground we need to cover and its time to move forward, which is exactly what I'd hoped would happen, so that's where we're at."
Crean said he's had "open communication" with the Big Ten and IU Athletics Director Fred Glass while deciding how long Dumes' suspension would last.
