It is amazing to see how far this country has come over the last several decades. From the hardships that African Americans faced to now having our first African American president. I was at Nick's on Tuesday watching President Obama's Inaugural Address and i was surprised at how quite the whole place was, hanging on every word that came out of his mouth. Obama has been an inspiration to many people across the country.

Payton asked IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack what she thought about the influence of sport on social change. That response is the last question of the press conference below after the Purdue game.
