The win last night (65-55 over Penn State) was not an easy one for the Hoosiers.

In a tale of two halfs the Hoosiers turned the ball over nine times in the first half and only five times in the second frame. The defense also picked up as they forced Penn State into 25 TO's for the game.

Leading the way for the Hoosiers in the scoring column Amber Jackson had 15, Jamie Braun 14, and Jori Davis had 12. After shooting just over 28 percent against Illinois the team got it up to over 40 percent.

So what does this all mean?

It means the Hoosier showed some resolve and composure after a tough loss against a team they should have beat and then weathered the early Penn State storm.

At the press conference (which will be posted later) Coach Jack in her opening statement said "What great teams understand is that just because you are down it doesn't mean you have to stay down."

So what next?

A date with number one in the Big Ten and 14th ranked Ohio State in Columbus. I myself am planning to be on hand to witness what should be a great game and battle for the top spot in the conference.

People are always talking about parity in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers could loose to the last place team in the conference and beat the best team ... hows that for parity?
