A goal in the 25th minute by Penn St. junior forward Vincent Salvatico was the difference in the IU men's soccer 1-0 road loss in Happy Valley.
After senior goalkeeper Chay Cain saved a free kick from just outside of the box, Salvatico was able to put in the rebound.
The Hoosiers were only able to tally three shots on goal in the 90 minutes of play. The loss drops IU to 9-5-3 on the season and 2-3 in the Big Ten Conference.
Next on the schedule is No. 6 Northwestern in a Big-Ten finale on Friday, November 7 at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
