After defeating No. 8 Northwestern 2-0, No. 23 IU (10-5-3, 3-3) will compete against Ohio State in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. Last year the Buckeyes (9-7-2, 2-4) defeated the Hoosiers in the championship game 0-0 (5-4 PKs) to clinch the Big Ten tournament title.
IU defeated Ohio State 3-2 (OT) on Oct. 26 in Columbus. The No. 3 seeded Hoosiers will be looking for their 12th Big Ten Tournament championship.
The teams will play at 2 p.m. Thursday at McClimon Soccer Complex in Madison, Wis.
